Major spoilers for T5E
Part of the plot of T5E is that the Scone of Stone has been replaced five
times at least, because even the best dwarf bread lasts only a few hundred
years. The original Scone that B'hrian Bloodaxe sat on is a thousand years
gone.
Why, then, was Mr Bloodaxe's *actual* battle bread doing a tour of the
Disc's dwarf bread museums in FoC?

Just in case someone googles this in 2018 or later: Thud! solves this problem by showing the real battle bread of B'hrian, near his remains. Therefore the loaf in Ankh-Morpork had to be fake: cpt.
